Memorial to recall Kirkcaldy's industrial past

PAST INDUTRIAL HERITAGE FIFE & PERTH

 End of the Shift: an oral history project which records the memories, skills and experiences of industrial workers in Fife and Perthshire.

In recognising that the great industries that made modern Scotland are now no more, Grace Notes Scotland set up the project to record the knowledge and memories of former workers so that they will be conserved for future generations.  In paying tribute to the past, this project highlights the enormous contribution that Scottish workers have made to science, technology, art and culture.
